Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Alexandria Port – Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
You will be picked up from your ship in Alexandria by private Tours representative, who will meet you at the Port of Alexandria, by the cruise exit door. You will board an air-conditioned private vehicle to travel to Cairo, a trip of about 2 ½ hours. You will enjoy a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, before heading out to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, both of which date back to the ancient time of Chephren. Lunch at local restaurant , then continue your tour to the Egyptian Museum, where you will enjoy more than 5,000 years of history and culture, displayed in more than 250,000 unique artifacts. One of the highlights here are the treasures of Tutankhamen, recovered in the 1920s after more than 3,500 years buried in the desert. Optional dinner cruise on the Nile for 2 hours. You will stay the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Alexandria Tour – Port
Early morning breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then travel back to Alexandria via a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Once in Alexandria, you will visit the Roman Catacombs, which consist of three level cut in the rock . You will also visit Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century, as well as modern Alexandria Library. Before rejoining your cruise ship, you will enjoy lunch in the city.Transfer to the port of Alexandria to board your cruise ship
